Description

The Monforts DNC 500 DuoTurn with two tool turrets and two spindles is a successful integration of two high-performance lathes into a single compact machine concept: The right and left sides of the workpiece are turned, drilled or milled - without operator intervention. Designed for fast work with short cycle times and thus high productivity. Equipped with 2 independent hydrostatic guide systems, which do not influence each other but can be combined with each other. Designed for fast work with short cycle times and thus high productivity. Equipped with 2 independent hydrostatic guide systems which do not influence each other. In compound operation, the workpieces are transferred from one spindle to another. In single machine operation, eachside works independently of each other. Benefits - Absolutely wear-free hydrostatic guidance in the Z-axis - Weight-compensated cross slide with backlash-free roller guide - Torsion-resistant construction as inclined bed - Reduction of unit costs due to complete machining - Reduction of throughput times due to elimination of idle times and transport times - Spindle unit with concentricity accuracy of approx. 0.003 mm
