Large-size indicator of the MG-series are numeric, 4-digit LED-displays, which are triggered via interface. Different interfaces are available. In this progress the communication is controlled by a Busmaster. The device recognises automatically the used Baudrate via a Busmaster and needs as single information the Profibus address that has to be used. Furthermore devices that can be addressed via RS232/RS485 are available; they can be operated in a bus system. Of course there is an interface for BCD-signals with select-input and address-coded trigger, too. Here, additionally a SPS-mode is supported, which transfers the data via a synchronous serial protocol to the device. This way several devices can be triggered separately via the select-input. The device is designed for indoor use; outdoor use on demand. The used profile en- closure is made of Aluminium and designed for the rough industrial use. It is available as built-on enclosure and panel-mounting type. Avalable in digit heights of 57mm, 100mm or 200mm.
