This new wind blades transport system allow to increase manufacturing blades productivity in a safe and easy way. Both indoor and outdoor, withou any restriction and in an eco-friendly way.
We are pleased to announce that Morello Giovanni has developed two battery powered wind turbine blades transporters to transport the world’s longest wind turbine blade: 107 metres.
To transport this extremely long blade, it was necessary to design 2 powered modular machines, each with a 60 tonne capacity, able to move in a synchronised manner at a distance of more than 80 metres apart!
Our software developers took on an extremely stimulating challenge in order to ensure the two wind turbine blades transporters were able to communicate and automatically correct their trajectories at such a wide distance apart and carrying such a flexible load.
