Motic presents SMZ-168 series of stereomicroscopes. The highly versatile devices are designed for complex applications. They provide one of the industry's largest zoom ratio of 1:6.7. Standard working distance is 113mm within a Greenough optical zoom stereo. Additionally a maximum magnification of 50X is provided by the standard system. Also available is an assured parfocality across the magnifications. The microscopes have been developed to provide a long working life. In order to suit the application and environment setup, the SMZ-168 comes in a 35° and 60° observation angle format. The standard 10X eyepieces have a high eyepoint system, which aids in fatigue prevention. They allow a more relaxed posture to the user while using the microscope. Also, eyeglass wearers can observe without worrying about scratching their lenses. A field view of 30.7mm is offered by the standard eyepieces. This allows coverage of more sample in a shorter time. SMZ-168 has a 35º inclined and 360º rotating binocular head.
