Mild Steel Copper-Coated Solid Wire
General Characteristics
DESCRIPTION
Motomig SG2 550.5 welding wire it is a copper-alloy lower steel wire.
The main components which feature the raw material are Carbon (C), Silicon (Si), Manganese (M), Sulphur (S) and Phosphorus (P).
It is applied on MIG/MAG welding for the manufacturing of metallic elements constituted by small to medium thicknesses steel parts.
It has high ductility, stable arc welding on steel used in construction, metal structures, automotive industry, shipbuilding industry and metalworking and metallurgy in general.
Uses Ar/CO2 mixture as a shielding gas.
This welding wire is used in automatic welding, semi-automatic and robotic.
