The fiber optic modules of the LW series each consist of a transmitter and a receiver. The LW213/ LW215 converts incremental signals into light waves and sends them to the LW214/ LW216 receiver module. This converts the light waves back into digital values. LW213/ LW215: transmitter LW214/ LW216: receiver The fiber optic modules LW213 and LW214 have an optical wavelength of 1300 nm and are capable of transmitting signals over a distance of 3000m. The fiber optic cables LW215 and LW216 have an optical wavelength of 850 nm and are capable of transmitting signals over a distance of 2000m. • 4 independent RS422 / HTL inputs • 4 RS422 / HTL outputs • Up to 1 MHz input frequency • Short conversion times: under 300ns
