The Versa2 Series provides multiple transport services, including wavelength conversion, amplification, and dispersion compensation, in a small 1U footprint. The product is configurable, based on the overall system reach, capacity, availability, and budget requirements. Designed to minimize space and power consumption, the Versa2 Series provides a cost-effective solution for OPGW, Oil and Gas and Private networks, SCADA and Telemetry transport and Long-reach applications. Solutions are available for data rates from 155 Mbps to 10 Gbits in SDH or GbE protocols as required. The Versa2 can be used as a standalone, network-ready telecom solution or in combination with the MPBC 2RU product family. The equipment integrates easily with 3rd party equipment suppliers to extend the capacity and/or reach of fiber optic systems up to 500 km without the use of repeaters.
