Pit furnace is preferred for the heat treatment of materials make such as screws, wire, rods or bolts that high and low carbon steels, copper alloys, bronze, brass etc. in industry. Inquired atmosphere control can be provided thanks to retort inside the pit furnace. Generally, pit furnace is used as embedded on the floor. It provides savings for the workspace and is more comfortable. The samples are loaded to baskets inside of the retort. An overhead crane is needed for this furnace. The basket that is filled with samples is loaded by overhead crane from the upper side to the furnace.
