The MSI MS-98J8 is a 3.5” Single Board Computer (SBC) designed for fanless, ultra low-power, high-performance applications, and capable of operating within a wide voltage range. It is powered by the Intel® Apollo Lake/Apollo Lake-I Series SoC and supports up to 8GB of DDR3L memory through a single 1866/1600 MHz SODIMM slot. The board enables triple independent displays via DisplayPort, HDMI™, and LVDS. Networking capabilities include two GbE LAN ports with RJ-45. Expansion options feature an M.2 E Key slot and a full-size Mini-PCIe slot with mSATA. For storage, it provides a SATA 3.0 port. Connectivity options include four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports (including one RS-485), GPIO, PS/2, and audio. The board supports a wide voltage DC-IN range of 9-36V, making it versatile for various industrial applications.
