The LevelCheck LC 510 is a microwave-based limit monitor for bulk solids. It is used for level measurement and as a microwave barrier. The LC 510 is designed for level monitoring of solids in silos, containers, bunkers, storage tanks, pipe systems. It can monitor min/max, ensure continuous supply and prevent overfilling. In addition, the LC 510 can be used to detect congestion on conveyor belts, count goods, position objects, or protect hazardous areas with a barrier. The device is robust, easy to install and insensitive to dirt, dust and steam. The transmitter and receiver of the LC 510 can be placed up to 25 m apart. Any material between them is detected and a switching operation is triggered. Dust, steam and debris do not affect the measurement result. The measurement is non-contact and does not affect the bulk material. All settings like gain, filter, hysteresis, delay can be adjusted. Optional versions for ATEX up to zone 20/21 and pressure up to 30-60 bar are available.
