The HVT 300-DV is a SIL2 certified voltage transducer for shunt monitoring.
The HVT300-DV voltage transmitter is designed to measure high currents across a shunt resistor and to switch freely configurable alarms and emergency stop. It is redundant and certified according to SIL2.
The HVT 300-DV has 2 freely configurable alarm relays and 2 SIL relays as well as an analog 4-20mA output. It can be freely configured via USB using software. Numerous monitoring functions, such as cable break monitoring or a memory check, ensure error-free operation.
A typical application for the HVT 300-DV is the monitoring of currents around electrolysers and fuel cells. For example, it is often used to monitor the rectifiers upstream of an electrolyzer to ensure that a minimum current is flowing, as otherwise safety hazards may occur in the electrolyzer.
