The HVT 300-DP is a SIL2 certified differential voltage transmitter.
The HVT 300-DP has 2 freely configurable alarm relays and 2 SIL relays as well as an analog 4-20 mA output. It can be freely configured by software via USB. Numerous monitoring functions, such as cable break monitoring or a memory check, ensure error-free operation.
The HVT 300-DP is used to measure the voltage difference between two points. A typical application is the monitoring of ground faults in electrolysers. Since these are not grounded, but must run on a similar electrical potential as the house ground, it is recommended to monitor both values continuously and intrinsically safe. In case of deviations, an alarm is triggered. Larger deviations are an indication that blockages have occurred in the liquid flow at the electrolyzer.
