The HITY is a humidity sensor and determines the relative humidity and temperature in gases. It is intended for installation in ventilation ducts or on the wall.
The HITY works on the basis of an impedance measurement, it determines the humidity by means of the change in a hydrophilic polymer membrane built into the sensor. The measuring method does not require calibration, the sensor is extremely stable against chemicals and other aggressive substances, e.g. ozone, formaldehyde, axetone, isopropanol, methanol, toluene, hexane, etc. The sensor is insensitive to condensation and temperature changes are measured. The probe is insensitive to condensation, temperature changes are measured and compensated. Humidity changes are detected very quickly and output via the analogue interface.
