Description

High quality UV Metal coated Neutral Density (ND) Filter Neutral Density (ND) Filters are often used in imaging systems and laser systems to avoid the damage to camera sensors or other optical components by high power light. ND Filters are designed to reduce transmission of partial light evenly either by absorbing or reflecting the light. These dielectrically optical mirrors feature greater than 99% reflection, significantly better than that of metal coated mirrors, and increases system performance by minimizing energy loss. The highly durable fused silica substrate offers a low coefficient of thermal expansion and a high resistance to abrasion. TECHSPEC Broadband Dielectric λ/10 Mirrors are designed for applications from the UV to the near-infrared spectra.
