Acoustic Emission Testing helps in protection of this investment. This method is much more effective than electric methods for on-site tests. Using a built-in magnetic attachment application, the device is positioned on the metallic surface. With this system, the AE-150 can easily move around the entire transformer for surveying. It features a RF communication system and remote user interface. These ensure the unit operates safely, including in the most extreme conditions. The AE-150 has been built in collaboration with Hydro-Quebec and IREQ. It combines advanced acoustic and electrical expertise to result in a high performance and user-friendly product.
