Splined shaft

Our extensive Splining facilities include machines that can cut splined shafts of up to 4250 mm long and 450 mm Diameter. We also have the ability to cut internal splines using either broaching or gear shaping methods. We can produce splined shafts with internal diameters of 1m and 200mm face width. A very comprehensive range of Hobs and Cutters are available which enables us to cut numerous spline designs. We can produce special splined shafts with customer specific features such as minimum backlash for increased reliability and quieter running and increase capacity by heat-treating the splined shafts.
