Valve Position Indicator (VPI) - Actuator systems
As is well known, it is very difficult to create a reliable feedback signal from handwheel operated gate valves, since it has traditionally been very difficult to create a strong and robust mounting facility around the hand wheel and adequate protection for the switches themselves. The VPI will be custom made to fit a gate valve or a gearbox operated gate valve with a specified switch.
