The NETZSCH Proteus® is a sophisticated software module for modern measuring and evaluation for any thermal analysis. The software is programmed with every factor required to make an accurate measurement and evaluate the resulting data autonomously. The module comes with an PC installable licensed instrument and runs on Windows® XP Professional/Windows® 7/Ultimate/32-, 64-bit operating system. It offers high-end analysis of data, however lodges a very simple user-friendly menus, automated routines and software workability. This module is supported by Proteus 6.1 and Proteus 7.0 for advanced measuring and evaluation. These support software is loaded with several features like macro Recorder for automatic evaluation of test series, TM-DSC for evaluation of temperature-modulated DSC tests, BeFlat® for correction of baseline deviations in temperature and heating rate parameters, Specific Heat for determining temperature-dependent calorimetric sensitivity, Super-Res® for increasing the sample compression in sintering processes and c-DTA® for measuring systems with only one thermocouple etc. Other features available for premium customers are purity determination, density determination and Tau-R® Mode .
