Description

Optimized through the High Efficiency Unique Design (HEUD) concept, these three-screw pumps boast high efficiency. They also ensure continuous delivery with low pulsation and minimal turbulence in the flow of the medium, resulting in gentle product handling. This is achieved through state-of-the-art technology, precise tolerances, and an optimized screw profile. In addition to a drive screw that transmits torque via a thin hydrodynamic film, 3NS three-screw pumps feature two rotating, intermeshing driven screws. This makes them particularly suitable for non-abrasive and non-corrosive media, as well as for liquids with low to medium viscosity, such as lubricants. With an optional upgrade, NOTOS® multi-screw pumps can meet the American Petroleum Institute (API) standards relevant to the oil & gas and petrochemical industries. Furthermore, thanks to the wide range of materials, they are versatile and can be used in various applications. Besides grey cast iron and chrome-nickel steel, they are also available in duplex, superduplex, or hastelloy steel. This ensures low maintenance and thus low life cycle costs.
