The efficiency and the tightness of the equipment are verified and guaranteed by Uranin tests carried out internally or on site.
The test consists of :
- Measuring a filtering coefficient of the tightness of a filter housing by injecting a solid gas (URANIN) at the inlet of the equipment to be tested,
- Take a quantity of gas upstream and downstream of this equipment by means of sampling filters,
- Extract URANIN from these filters by washing,
- Results reading by measurement of the samples fluorescence.
The purification coefficient obtained is the ratio of the mass of the particles to the mass of emerging particles. The test is performed in accordance with standard NF EN ISO 16170.
