Description

This non-destructive test system allows the detection of all kinds of packaging leaks and the tracking of customer-specified leak rates without the use of test gas. By means of leak detection, the packaging quality is ensured and thus the required quality of the final food product. With the LEAK TEST I individual tests and automated random sampling are possible. Typical products are coffee capsules or coffee pods in pouches. Features • Non-destructive testing in the chamber without test gas, no stress on the seams of the packing • The vacuum test detects even the finest of leaks • Gross leaks are detected even in small packings • Visual display of the test results, i.e. immediate indication of the leak rate • Due to the electronic data acquisition and processing, test logs are recorded and can be exported for evaluation • Adjustable limit values and documented final inspection in compliance with DIN / ISO 9001 • The statistical process control and trend recognition based on data analysis enable a reduction of the reject rate • Two different chamber sizes available Technical data Chamber size, Top Version (LxWxH): 400 x 350 x 200 mm Chamber size, Separate Version Imax (LxWxH): 550 x 450 x 250 mm Test duration: < 12 s Smallest detectable hole diameter: < 10 μm Easy to calibrate at the push of a button Warm-up time: < 3 min.
