Pneumatic conveying is a well-established method for transporting coffee beans over long distances and with complicated routing to their destination. It is often used to feed the roasting plants from the green coffee silos, however, it can also be used for the transport of roasted coffee if damage to the fragile roasted beans is of lesser concern, e.g. in case of subsequent grinding. NEUHAUS NEOTEC determines the required capacities for pneumatic transport according to your process data such as roasting capacity and number of different provenances and supplies the complete systems, including fans, conveying lines and intake bins.
