Colour sorters are being used more and more in the roasted coffee industry as today's machines have reached a standard that makes possible an efficient cleaning of the coffee with a high rejection accuracy. The shape, colour and material properties of the coffee beans are checked and, in case of major deviations from the quality standard, the beans are rejected. The intelligent and adaptive software of the colour sorter continuously optimizes the sorting result. NEUHAUS NEOTEC offers one of the most efficient colour sorters equipped with Full RGB Colour Technology and high-resolution cameras as well as NIR and InGaAs cameras for optimum detection of foreign objects, to name just a few features. The colour sorters are provided with up to 7 chutes and can process up to 14 t/h of green coffee.
