The DPB Dual Plate Brakes offer twice the torque capacity of a single plate brake of similar diameter. Available in four sizes with either Standard or Low coefficient friction facings. Torque capacity as high as 36,000 inibs @ 80 psi. Maximum Operating Speeds 900 - 2200 rpm depending on size. Thermal Horsepower rating as high as 9.0 hpt. A Torque Arm assembly allows you to anchor the housing. Bore sizes as large as 4.0 in. Shaft mounting requires a Nexen provided plain bushing on one end and a QD busing on the other.
