Description

The NIBCO® carbon steel, flanged end ball valve provides bubble-tight shutoff at 285 PSI. The one-piece valve is recommended for industrial, petrochemical, utility service applications. It conforms to Fire Safe and Anti-Static requirements and is tested to API-598 criteria. This valve features a locking handle or manual gear operator. It may be used for isolation and throttling (half open to full open only). The NIBCO® carbon steel ball valve provides ease of operation with quarter-turn (90 degrees) open to close. The valve is equipped with mounting pad for actuation purposes. The carbon filled PTFE seat ring, graphite and braided graphite stem packing and stainless steel ball and stem exhibit high chemical resistance properties.
