Nidaplast polypropylene honeycomb structures with an 8-mm mesh are used for the core of structural sandwich panels. Nidaplast 8DB has been especially designed to make shaped parts. By cutting it into checks measuring 30 x 30 mm or 50 x 50 mm on one surface of the core, curved parts can be made. Large-scale panels : 2500 x 1220 mm Various thicknesses : from 5 to 50 mm (other thocknesses on demand) Cell size : 8 mm Indicative surface mass for a 20-mm panel : 1,5 kg/m2 The honeycomb has a density of 65 kg/m3, ensuring good shock resistance and compressive strength.
