The Knitted Fire Sleeve has been designed to protect cables, wires and hoses against hazardous high heat and occasional flames. The Knitted Fire Sleeve offers continuous protection to temperature exposure of 260°C/500°F and is able to withstand a molten splash at 1200°C/2200°F. It is constructed from knitted fiberglass yarns in a flexible substrate and features a coating of high grade silicone rubber.
The silicone sleeve provides resistance against fuels, lubricating oils and hydraulic fluids as well as insulating against energy loss in piping and hosing. It offers protection against burns for employees and enables the bundling of cables, wires and hoses.
The Knitted Fire Sleeve is able to withstand repeated exposure to molten aluminum, molten steel and molten glass up to 1650°C/3000°F. Proudly made by BST Thermal Protection Products Co. Ltd., it is highly recommended that safety glasses, gloves, long sleeves and dust masks are worn during product handling.
