The Nippon Pulse PFL20 series linear stepper motors converts rotary motion into linear motion with an integral lead screw which passes through the core of the stepper motor rotor. By using rolled screw technology, the linear stepper motors operate smoothly with higher efficiencies and longer lifespan. Linear stepper motors are a cost-effective method to create linear motion in various lab automation applications, medical diagnostic equipment, pumps and valves, printers, copiers, and packaging machinery. The PFL20-24 series is available with 24 steps per revolution with screw thread pitch of 1.20mm, with stroke lengths of 30mm with a motor diameter of 20mm.
