VersaPUR melters efficiently process polyurethane (PUR) hot melt adhesives with an easy-to-use, easy-to-clean design to simplify operation and maintenance. Highly-versatile VersaPUR melters are configurable for specific applications and manufacturing processes. • Process PUR from environmentally-friendly, 20-liter foil-encased slugs. • Offer melt-on-demand functionality to reduce thermal stress and protect bonding characteristics. • Use a pneumatic piston to force adhesive out of the bag, leaving virtually no residue. • Hold sufficient adhesive in the hopper to allow continuous operation during slug changes. • Process PUR or EVA granulates. • Utilize either integrated or external inert gas supply to create inert gas blanket. • Incorporate pressurized tank and lid design to protect adhesive from thermal stress and maintain bonding characteristics.
