Description

EDI BOPP dies are customizable to meet each processor’s specific requirements. For added layer arrangement versatility, a variety of distribution block systems are available. Processors have long tried to solve the problem of ensuring their film is produced with consistent strength and durability, while also meeting the visual requirement dictated by the end product's use. To do this, the structural elements in the film must be proportionally extruded across its width. Delivering Uniform Film Structures The uniform and precise layer-to-layer structure created by an EDI® die system means the film's integrity remains intact during stretching, creating an end product with exceptional protective qualities against chemical and environmental factors. Designed to Meet Your Needs Coextrusion Capabilities - Multi-manifold extrusion dies offer advanced precision and can be used to create naked edges Gauge Control - Autoflex™ automatic or manual lip adjustment systems available Manifold Type - Multiflow™ 10 straight backline manifold Designed to Suit Your Process Deckling Capabilities - Fixed internal deckling and exchangeable inserts enable producers to change partial coverage widths for process dependent film structures Finishing Options - A variety of surface finishes, including chrome plating or alternative surface coatings, are available based on your application Production Line Integration - Adaptable to interface with new or existing production lines Additional Features - Angled lip exit available
