Our BKG® HiCon™ K-SWE-HD/RS allows for the use of recycled polymers in your blown film application!
Producing quality blown film is not an easy task. A film bubble reacts sensitively to altering process conditions, and only minor changes in temperature, viscosity, and especially pressure can harm the final product.
But adding recyclates to the mix is an additional disruptor to an already delicate process. Especially pressure fluctuation during screen change, backflush, and venting can lower the quality of the film or even result in line shut-downs.
But what if we had a suitable solution?

Handling Pressure
Blown film lines work with operating pressures up to 600 bar, and this amazing level of internal forces needs to be picked up by intelligent design.
The melt pressure-controlled venting start ensures sensitive filling of the cavity after the screen change and prevents pressure drops. Valuable adaptions to our proven backflush technology make this filter even more capable of handling high pressure.
