Description

The BKG® HiCon™ V-Type 3G is equipped with a patented POWER BACKFLUSH technology, ensuring the highest efficiency and operating independently of the extrusion pressure. It is our most powerful backflush melt filtration system - the perfect fit for highly contaminated polymers. The BKG® HiCon™ V-Type 3G melt filter is uniquely capable of pressure-constant operation due to its patented Power-Backflush-Technology. The melt pressure-controlled venting start feature helps you automate and stabilize your process, especially the operating pressure. Constant pressure is one of the most critical parameters in polymer processing systems, especially in the extrusion of film, sheet, and fibers. Number of filter cavities in production mode during different process steps Regular Operation - 4 screen cavities (100%) in the process Backflush - 3 screen cavities (75%) in the process, 1 screen cavity (25%) in backflush position Screen Change - 3 screen cavities (75%) in the process, 1 screen cavity (25%) in screen change position Reservoir Filling - 4 screen cavities (100%) in the process Increase Profitability Ensures high end-product quality due to no pressure- or volume fluctuations in any process steps Increases productivity by allowing more line up-time due to up to 200 backflushing cycles Increase Quality Ensures the highest efficiency and operates independently of the extrusion pressure due to the patented POWER BACKFLUSH technology
