Description

Nordson offers a wide range of reliable melt pumps. The BKG® RP pump series are designed for discharging low to medium viscosity melts in extrusion applications. The BKG® RP series are discharge pumps designed to gently extract low to medium viscosity melts from reactors or tanks. To meet the requirements of low-viscous polymers, the RP pump is equipped with a sophisticated sealing system that prevents leakages, even under difficult processing conditions. One Concept - Different Models Processing polymers with low viscosities is challenging. Thanks to the different models in the RP melt pump series, they can be configured to suit customers specific line requirements. When processing shear-sensitive plastics, e.g. PMMA or PET, a short residence time is key to preventing degradation of the polymer. Specifically designed to meet this requirement, the BKG® RP-LE-EO pump is equipped with smaller, rheologically optimized in-/outlet geometries. Increase Profitability Maximize production efficiency by reducing extruder head pressure and increasing throughput Lower operating costs by reducing scrap and product defects Enhance diagnostic capabilities with elaborate sensor system Increase Quality Optimize the surface and optical quality in the production of films, sheets, and profiles by eliminating pressure pulsations Improve dimensional accuracy in the production of films, sheets, and profiles Increase Convenience Easy start-up process Simple design for easy maintenance and low downtime
