The BKG® HiCon™ R-Type is ideal for recycling polymer melts from the family of olefins and styrenes with a high contamination degree. The problem with recycling polyolefins is that plastic waste made of polyolefins is often highly contaminated with various substances. Processing those highly contaminated basic raw materials with a low level of pretreatment requires a different filtration concept than a piston-type one.
