Step conveyors combine the greatest possible protection of the parts to be fed with good pre-orientation of the individual parts on the conveyor steps. NSM offers a wide range of standard models for various applications. From simple elevating conveyors with downstream discharge conveyors for small parts - e.g. in front of assembly lines, to heavy-duty conveyors for workpiece weights up to 25 kg, as used for feeding induction heating systems or forming presses. The workpieces are conveyed out of the bunker via the conveyor's movable lifting steps. The sinusoidal motion characteristic ensures gentle transfer of the workpieces from the upper lifting stage to the downstream conveying or sorting device. Double and false hits are reversed into the separate pre-bunker. Correct layers are separated in a compartment nest for removal handling, either standing upright in the parts accumulation or without accumulation pressure.
