The coupler and the plug are both fitted with a valve. Both valves are open when the connection is made which guarantees immediate flow. To prevent leaking, the valves close when the coupler is disconnected. The special locking system, based on 25KS, prevents an unintentional disconnection. Specifications: Working Temperature: depending on medium -4°F up to +210°F (NBR) -40°F up to +250/300°F (EPDM) +5°F up to +400°F (FKM) +32°F up to +600°F (FFKM) At a temperature below -4°F and above +300°F special seals are available. Working Pressure: 500 psi, maximum static working pressure with 4:1 design factor. Note: BSP male and female & BSPT (DIN 2999) threads are available upon request.
