The vertical strapping machine series Press Master automatically applies vertical straps to any type of product which needs to be kept together during transport, handing and warehousing. In a single cycle, this machine may simultaneously apply two vertical polyester or polypropylene straps (type of strap must be defined at the time of the order) It can be added on to existing automatic lines where it exchanges input and output signals with the devices installed upstream and downstream the line. The machine consists of: Sturdy and completely painted support structure made of arc welded steel plate. Strapping heads model SONIC Plus or TR1400/TR1400HD (our international patent) which automatically feed, recover, tense, weld and cut the strap. Strapping arches positioned at a fixed center-to-center distance, with a track for the strap to run around the pack made of a low friction, wear resistant material. The arches are equipped with a track opening device with multiple independent segments to ensure perfect strap centering around the pack. Strapping head motion group complete with pressing plate whose pressing force can be regulated up 2000 daN. The positioning of the plate is automatically determined according to the height of the pack to be strapped. The pressing force is regulated by simply varying the pressure in a cylinder to which the pressing plate’s ascent and descent shaft-mounted reducer is connected.
