These clamp modules are able to clamp one workpiece against a stopper.
In most cases, code format is KCS-sjn, where “s” corresponds to a clamp size (B or D), “j” is a jaw type (Serrated, Smooth) and “n” is a frame type.
Almost all other jaw combinations are also available. For example, in KCS-DES1 model, “E” stands for a self-aligning jaw and “S” – for a smooth jaw.
For applications where a robot is used to tighten the bolt to clamp the workpiece then versions like KCS-DR1A are available. Please note though the outer dimensions are the same as the manually operated versions, the back jaw and the bolt are always in the same position to make robotic drive easier.
