The single-acting M842 is an oil-oil pressure booster that consists of a spring return and a booster piston which can be installed in any way or position. It operates within a temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius and +80 degrees Celsius. This compact booster's distributor is comprised of a flow regulator valve and an internal check valve, which effectively provides the required low pressure hydraulic circuit to applications that call for higher pressure. While the actuator is pressurised while in a static condition, the pressure can reach up to the maximum rating level. Returning the actuator requires putting the control valve to the dump position and the booster piston to the rest position.
