Description

Ultra-high-frequency partial discharge monitoring system for GIS and GIL PARADIMO 100 is a smart edge computing device that provides you with continuous monitoring and trending of partial discharge (PD) activity in Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and Gas-Insulated Lines (GIL). It contains all you need to automatically detect and classify the type of insulation defect in GIS and GIL and generates alerts for reliable risk assessment. PD activity is simultaneously monitored via pre-installed UHF sensors in different frequency ranges using wideband and medium-band filters for optimal signal-to-noise ratios, even in noisy environments. Multiple PARADIMO 100 devices can be connected in series with fiber optic cables to monitor large areas of your GIS or GIL. Key Features • Smart edge computing device for continuous monitoring of PD activity. • Automatic defect detection and classification to enable risk assessment. • PD monitoring in wide- and medium-band ranges for accurate signal detection. • Supports CIGRE “Application guide for sensitivity verification” (Brochure 654) • Highly scalable system to monitor critical bays or complete substations. • Remote data access to each installed device via a Web interface. • Easy connections to AC power, PD sensors, and existing IT infrastructure.
