When the weight of the load or the thrust forces are difficult for a classic crane with manual rotation, the best solution is to resort to the jib crane with 270° electric rotation.
The jib crane with cantilever girder boom, in particular, makes it possible to utilise the available space in height with a consequent increase in the available hook stroke. The cantilever girder is self-supporting, without using tie rods.
The boom is rotated by means of a gear motor/joint system, coupled directly to the rotation pin, and is controlled by an inverter. The gear motor is of the planetary type, driven by a self-braking electric motor with soft start.
The hoist trolley power line consists of self-extinguishing flexible cables installed in sliding cable track systems under the boom.
The push-button strip may be hanging from the hoist, or sliding and independent, as required. Rotation limit switches are installed in case it is necessary to limit the boom tilting range.
