Drag conveyors are used to transport short chips, dust or mud (iron, aluminum or brass). The liquid and chips falls in drag and settles on the bottom, the chips are retreived using scrappers and pour into a bucket. Different chains on which are fixed the scrapers of different heights have a pitch of 40, 42 or 65.. COMPOSITION • The structure is folded sheet steel and welded bars. For safety, a bonnet cover is placed on the inclined part of the conveyor and a chute of exit is bolted on the head of the conveyor. • Scrappers are bolted at regular intervals. • A motor gear, with torque limiter, ensures the drive of the chain. The conveyors can be equipped with : • adjustable foot support, • chute on horizontal part, • electric safety, • mechanical safety, • tank of liquids recovery, • lifting pump.
