Description

Magnetic conveyors with permanent magnets are used for conveying short iron or cast iron chips (dusts and muds), parts and scraps. Coolant and chip mix falls on the flat part of the conveyor composed by a stainless- steel sheet; chips are conveyed by the magnetic force of magnets glued on scrapers of the chains moving under the sheet. Different magnets available: Neodium (strong attraction) or Ferrite. COMPOSITION • The structure is folded sheet steel in which are fixed guides receiving the chain driving the magnetic bars. A stainless steel sheet is used to transport the chips sliding through the magnetic bars placed below. • The magnetic blocks are glued to the bars and driven by chains. • A motor gear, with torque limiter, ensures the drive of the magnetic bars. • Stretchers with springs provide automatic tensioning of chain. The conveyors can be equipped with : • adjustable foot support • chute on horizontal part • electric safety • mechanical safety • tank of liquids recovery • lifting pump
