Description

Electromagnetic shear locks or commonly referred to as Shearlock offer an optimal and secure solution to any swing or swing door. The Shearlock incorporates metal pins that increase the lock of the door. We've added 3 sensors for improved adjustability with the door. The closing force (maximum pressure) is higher than conventional electromagnetic locks and can be connected to heat and smoke detectors, coded keypads, as well as various access control systems. Small and adaptable We have SH locks available for any type of installation, whether on glass, wood or metal doors, recessed or overlay and whatever type of frame they have. In addition, thanks to their small size and adaptability, they can be installed discreetly on any door. Operation Electromagnetic and mechanical force to achieve a holding force up to 3 times higher than with an electromagnetic lock Fail-secure. When an electric current is applied to the lock, a magnetic field is created which causes the plate to adhere to the magnet. This locks the door and prevents it from opening. Green LED: Indication of the opening of the Shearlock for access. There is the possibility to time the opening or to keep the system open. Yellow LED: An amber LED indicates an anomaly or transient condition. Alignment or system malfunction should be checked. Red LED: A magnetic sensor detects the alignment of the Shearlock and commands it to lock. In case of a wrong locking it will make 5 locking attempts before activating the flashing acoustic signal.
