With the new COMPETITION series OPS-INGERSOLL presents the further development of the Gantry Eagle series EDM die sinkers which has been successful for years. After introducing the top product with the new fine finishing generator POWERSPARK together with the G5 PRECISION almost 2 years ago, now the COMPETITION series receives the same generator and the new control PowerSpark ONE. Thus, the new EDM technology with an excellent price-performance ratio is now available to a larger group of customers. In combination with the new off-line programming system PowerSpark EDITOR, our customers do not only receive the new high-performance technology with the leading graphite technology. Furthermore, we provide a completely revised copper technology for highest demands, for those customers who do not want to or cannot work with graphite or for certain machining operations where copper electrodes can still have advantages. The new COMPETITION series will be available in 2 sizes, the G50 and G80 Competition.
