The fiber optic temperature probe TS2 is designed ideally for the use in power transformer and bus bars. Its outer jacket of the fiber optic temperature sensors is composed of PTFE and a sensor tip made from GaAs-crystal (gallium arsenide) is also attached. The probe is made to be non-conducive. It has a temperature ranging from -200°C to +300°C.
The unit offers a complete immunity to RFI, EMI, NMR and microwave radiation. It also features a capability to resist harsh and corrosive places. An accurate, stable, and repeating measurement results can possibly be provided by the device. It also possesses a sensor cable that can reach up to several meters long without the possibility of affecting the accuracy of the result.
