The TS4 is a fiber-optic temperature sensor. It is specifically developed for use in chemically aggressive and nuclear environments.
The unit's enhanced resistance is provided with no loss in accuracy and temperature range. The outer jacket of the fiber optic temperature sensors is built from PTFE, while a GaAs-crystal (gallium arsenide) is linked at the sensor tip.
It has a temperature range of -200°C to +200°C. It also provides whole immunity to RFI, EMI, NMR and microwave radiation, with high temperature operating capability, intrinsic security, and non-invasive use.
The fiber optic temperature probes are also manufactured to resist tough and corrosive conditions. In addition, the unit guarantees accurate, steady and repeatable measurement results. The sensor cable can be up to several meters long.
