A Fresnel-prism has a linear structure with a constant prism angle. It deflects collimated light with a constant deflection angle. We offer a variety of standard designs as well as custom designs for our customers. Using plastic microstructured optical components offers many advantages over conventional optical products: -significant reduction in weight, thickness and volume; -ease in manufacturing of extremely high-aperture (fast) elements and large-area optical components; -almost unlimited flexibility in optical design; -cost-effective custom finishing of parts to virtually any shape and dimension. ___________________________________________________________________________ All dimensions in mm. The standard material used is PMMA (refractive index = 1.49; relative dispersion = 58). Other materials are available. The outside size may be up to 5 - 20mm beyond the clear aperture. Other dimensions or special trimmings can be realized uponrequest. The standard thickness is 1.8mm ± 0.3.
