Description

The torque limiter is a mechanical element that shuts off force transmitted when it exceeds the set torque. Torque limiters are used in applications such as copiers and printers, as protective mechanisms to prevent from feeding multiple sheets of paper into the device, or to cancel any force transmitted by an excessive load on the motor. The P-type torque limiter features a coil spring that is press-fitted onto the outer circumference of the inner press ring. The friction from both parts is used to shut off and limit the torque that is transmitted. This torque limiter can be used both forwards and in reverse. Used in toys, and for the protection of robot arm parts from overload ATMs and copiers Various safety-related mechanisms
