As with motors, solenoids, and electromagnetic clutches, small interactive clutches do not require power in order to control the transmission and shutoff of motive power. The interactive clutch is a mechanical element that makes it possible to transmit motive power at a uniform velocity (1:1).
The vertical hold type includes an internal torque limiter function, with a structure that operates during descent by activating the limiter (slipping). This allows for smooth operations during descent. As the limiter slips when there is an excessive load on the output side, this prevents damage to the drivetrain array.
